利用金属光电与气体倍增两个效果的紫外传感器。其感应波长为185-260nm,所以不用像其他半导体器件那样还要使用可见光的遮光片。具有体积小,灵敏度高的特点,可以检测从火焰发出的微弱紫外线,比如5米以外的打火机。主要用途为,火灾报警,燃烧监视,紫外开关等。
A ultraviolet detector that makes use of the photoelectric
effect of metal and the gas multiplication effect. It has a narrow spectral
sensitivity of 185 nm to 260 nm, being completely insensitive to visible
light. Unlike semiconductor detectors, it does not require optical visible-cut
filters, thus making it easy to use.

Silicon Carbide (SiC) Detectors
Silicon carbide SiC photodetectors / photodiodes have a spectral
response of approximately 210 -380 nm and are not sensitive to UV radiation
outside this region. This makes them ideal detectors in certain applications
for monitoring the UV spectrum without the need for solar rejection
filters. SiC photodetectors are extremely durable and have been proven
to withstand prolonged UV exposure in production quantities in many
applications.
